We Packed up Henry Ford, being our motorhome  and headed

to Harwarden  to see the trails of the 100 Horse men

drove to the Peaks  and saw a  some horses, tents  cars no

practicing as that was earlier in the day .

Back to Harwarden to get a place to stay the night

spotted a carpark by the war memorial Hall

some fellow motorhome people where parked up

had a chat to them and decided to park up just behind the hall as

in the early hours were expecting the 100 horses to stop in the car park to

water the horses before heading to Waikari for the Anzac service .

settled for the evening  got our tv going for the first time

with the help of another camper , glass of wine  cant ask for much more .

Having felt a big shake  from Seddon , not nice  a reminder of Christchurch .

6am and my friend comes for breakfast and a cupper before setting up

for some shots of the Horses .

TV crews , cameras set  everyone waiting for the sound of Horses , Here they

come the hairs on my back stand as i am reminded of the Young

Men going to war so young and many not comming home .

WE WILL REMEMBER THEM

As one door closes another opens

one of the lucky ones to start this journey as this trip unfolds

in a motorhome over the next 12month

i will post photos for you to view of the

places we visit and the people we meet .
